Job summary

Ulteig is seeking a Systems Commissioning Integrator III for SCADA support to join its renewable energy team. The role focuses on remote commissioning, real-time troubleshooting, and system validation across the U.S.

You will work with field technicians, EPCs, and asset owners to ensure successful startup and integration of solar and BESS sites. Ideal candidates have hands-on automation experience, strong knowledge of industrial networking, and the ability to work non-standard hours to align

Qualifications

• Two year technical degree is required or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in industrial automation, preferably energy/utilities.
• Experience with PLC/SCADA commissioning and remote troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Engage with clients in Renewable Energy.
• Maintain positive client relationships and frequent interaction.
• Troubleshoot PLCs on platforms such as Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Schneider, SEL.
• Troubleshoot HMI/SCADA on Ignition, Wonderware, Kepware/Topserver.
• Perform remote commissioning and real-time troubleshooting.
• Validate I/O, logic, and control sequences during startup.
• Collaborate with field teams to resolve issues via VPN/Remote Desktop.
• Review and update ladder logic, structured text, or function blocks.
• Document commissioning results and corrective actions.
• Support post-commissioning remote assistance as needed.
