Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Orlando, FL is seeking an IT&E Engineer to support system integration and qualification efforts for a major program, onsite in Orlando. You will develop and execute test plans, support test equipment, and perform environmental, EMI, and functional tests on hardware and software.

Required are a Bachelor's in Engineering or Physics, 3+ years in IT&T, and an active Secret Clearance with US citizenship. Domestic travel and cross-functional teamwork are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Physics required.
  • 3+ years of experience in Integration and Test (I&T).
  • Experience with test fixture design and test procedure development.
  • Active Secret Clearance is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is mandatory due to security requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Generate and execute sub-system and system level integration and test plans/procedures.
  • Support test equipment and facilities for test events.
  • Contribute to DVT and Qualification tests including ESS, EMI, ATPs for new hardware.
  • Investigate and resolve hardware, software and test equipment anomalies.
  • Provide evaluations of redesigns or upgrades to the missile system.
  • Travel domestically to support program test events and meetings.

You will be the System Integration, Test, and Evaluation (IT&E) Engineer to support a program's system integration and system qualification initiatives in Orlando, FL. Our team is responsible for executing sub-system and system level integration and tests for new and existing products.

What You Will Be Doing

As the IT&E Engineer, you will be responsible for working in the laboratory onsite:

  • Generating and executing sub-system and system level integration and test plans/procedures
  • Supporting the preparation of test equipment and facilities required for test events
  • Supporting Design Verification Tests (DVT) and Qualification tests, including Environmental Stress Screening (ESS), Electromagnetic Interference (EMI), and Functional Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) for new hardware
  • Support Failure investigations and resolution of hardware, software and test equipment anomalies that have occurred during system and subsystem testing
  • Provide engineering evaluations of redesigns or upgrades to the existing missile
  • This position requires the ability to travel domestically to support program test events and meetings.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must have the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance. A Final Secret Clearance is required to start.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Physics.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Integration and Test (I&T)
  • Strong understanding of test planning, test

execution, and test analysis principles

  • Experience with test fixture design, test procedure development, and test script creation
  • Active Secret Clearance
Desired Skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Physics, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in I&T, with a focus on

environmental testing and Design DVT

  • Experience with HALT testing and production, latent manufacturing defect testing
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations, such as MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, and DO-160
  • Familiarity with test automation frameworks and

tools, such as LabVIEW or TestStand

  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools, such as MATLAB or Python
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic

environment with multiple priorities and deadlines

  • Strong problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze complex test data and provide recommendations for product design improvements
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail, with ability to ensure

accurate and reliable test results

  • Experience with design assurance reviews as it relates to verification methods and planning
  • Experience with preparing for Test Readiness and Flight Readiness Reviews
Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00
