Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking an Integration, Test, and Evaluation Engineer Lead in the United States. You will lead the integration, testing, and evaluation of complex systems, generating test procedures and plans, and supporting hardware builds and test equipment.

You should bring a strong background in system integration and testing, with the ability to coordinate across functional areas, and you must have an active Secret DoD clearance and US citizenship.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Physics required.
  • Experience in hardware lab testing, ground testing, and flight testing of ground based or air based munitions.
  • 7+ years in Systems Development, or Systems Integration and Test, or Systems Production Testing (or combination).
  • Experience in technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, and formal system development/qualification/certification.
  • Active Secret DoD Clearance required to start (US Citizenship required).

You will be the Integration, Test, and Evaluation Engineer for our team, responsible for leading the integration, testing, and evaluation of complex systems. Our team is responsible for ensuring that integrated hardware meets physical, functional, and performance objectives.


What You Will Be Doing

As the Integration, Test, and Evaluation Engineer, you will be responsible for generating test procedures and plans, preparing test readiness review packages, integrating a development effort, and executing qualification testing. You will also write qualification test reports and support subcomponent and subassembly integration, as well as the build of subassembly hardware and test equipment.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must have the ability to obtain a SECRET Security Clearance and an INTERIM SECRET Clearance is required to start.


Basic Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Computer, Aerospace) or Physics

  • Experience in hardware lab testing, ground testing, and flight testing of ground based or air based munitions

  • Minimum of 7+ years work experience in any of the following: Systems Development, or Systems Integration and Test, or Systems Production Testing (or combination of)

  • Experience in technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, and formal system development/qualification/certification

  • Active Secret DoD Clearance required to start (US Citizenship required)


Desired Skills


  • 10+ years of experience in leading integration and test lab, ground, and/or flight execution

  • Previous Munitions experience with a focus on ground to air based munitions

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Systems Engineering V with a focus on Test Readiness Reviews(TRR) and Pre-Ship Readiness Reviews (PSRR)

  • Experience with sensor payloads

  • Experience defining Test Plans, Approaches and Test Equipment requirements

  • Experience with all aspects of Environmental Qualification Testing and EMI Qualification Testing

  • Familiarity with defining security plans

  • Demonstrated knowledge of subsystem HW/SW integration planning and execution

  • Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot problems and coordinate other integration participants for I&T program efficiency

  • Deliver effective customer presentations that include performance results, schedule status, and corrective action details

  • Ability to verify that test data is recorded and cataloged appropriately

  • Generate concise but thorough test reports purpose-built for use in verification and validation activities

  • Experience in qualification testing per MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, and MIL-STD environments

  • Experience with hardware in the loop (HWIL) testing

  • Active SECRET (or higher) clearances preferred


Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $104900.00 - $194700.00

  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
