Job summary

You will be the System Integration, Test, and Evaluation (IT&E) Engineer Senior to support a program's system integration and system qualification initiatives. Our team is responsible for executing sub-system and system level integration and tests for new and existing products.

What You Will Be Doing

This role plans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains solutions for the integration and testing of in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components, elements, subsystems and/or systems. Synthesizes customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints. Establishes functional and technical specifications and standards, solves hardware/software interface problems, defines input/output parameters, and ensures integration of the entire system or subsystem. Reviews, evaluates and derives requirements for testability, develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for complete systems and/or subsystems. Coordinates subsystem and/or system testing activities with programs and other organizations. Performs analysis of test results and prepares comprehensive subsystem and/or system level evaluation reports which verify and validate system performance. Writes discrepancy reports and performs integration regression testing to verify/validate incorporated fixes to software, components, subsystems and systems.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering
  • Minimum four (4) Years of Experience in Integration and Test or similar engineering field
  • Strong understanding of test planning, test execution, and test analysis principles
  • Experience with test fixture design, test procedure development, and test script creation
  • Experience in Interface Control Documents (ICDs), Wiring Schematics, Requirements Validation Testing
  • Proven ability to execute test plans, procedures, and complete test reports on component, subsystem, and/or system designs
Desired Skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Physics, or related field
  • 6+ years of experience in I&T, with a focus on environmental testing and Design DVT
  • Experience with High Accelerated Life Testing (HALT) testing and production, latent manufacturing defect testing
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations, such as MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, and DO-160
  • Familiarity with test automation frameworks and tools, such as LabVIEW or TestStand
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools, such as MATLAB or Python
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze complex test data and provide recommendations for product design improvements
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail, with ability to ensure accurate and reliable test results
  • Experience with design assurance reviews as it relates to verification methods and planning
  • Experience with preparing for Test Readiness and Flight Readiness Reviews
  • Active Secret Clearance
Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
