Job summary

The University of North Carolina Greensboro is seeking a Systems and Infrastructure Generalist in the University Registrar’s Office. This role acts as webmaster, supports reporting, and ensures data integrity across university systems.

Responsibilities include system knowledge expansion, DegreeWorks scripting, report writing, and interdepartmental collaboration to implement new technologies and processes. Strong technical and data skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Computer Programming or equivalent education/experience.
• Bachelor's with some computer-related coursework or equivalent.
• Preferred information systems/IT degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• System Knowledge and Support: acquire tech knowledge and support the Systems Infrastructure Team across all URO systems.
• Collaborate to create forms using various software to support URO operations.
• Maintain data accuracy for reporting and data reliability in Student DataMart.
• Support DegreeWorks by coding requirements and updating degree evaluations in real time.
• Run and analyze reports from Banner, DegreeWorks, EMS, and other platforms.

Education

Associate's Degree in Computer Programming

Bachelor's Degree with some computer related coursework

Equivalent combination of education and experience

Bachelor's Degree in information systems, information management, information technology, technology in education
