Job summary

Core Education seeks a Technical Services Manager to oversee the IT services and infrastructure supporting Greensboro College. You will lead a small team, ensure reliable systems, and drive digital transformation aligned with the college's mission.

You’ll manage uptime, vendor contracts, and security controls while delivering data-driven insights to campus stakeholders. This role is based on the Greensboro campus and requires after-hours availability.

Qualifications

• Requires degree in IT or related field with 3+ years supporting enterprise IT infrastructure
• Experience with Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, DHCP, and virtualization
• Proven ability to manage vendor relationships, licensing, and procurement
• Strong analytical, communication, and cross-team collaboration skills
• Experience leading IT teams and delivering data-driven IT improvements

Responsibilities

• Maintain 99%+ uptime of IT infrastructure including networks, servers, security, and end-user devices
• Lead a small IT team and guide campus digital transformation and vendor management
• Develop and enforce IT policies, standards, and security controls across campus
• Deliver data-driven reports to stakeholders on IT performance and value
• Coordinate maintenance windows and after-hours support for critical systems
• Oversee asset inventory and license compliance
• Research and implement new technologies to improve operations
