Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Systems Engineering Manager - Level 2 to lead a multi‑site SE organization supporting WR programs and campaigns. You will drive requirements development, architecture, verification, and sell‑off with strong cross‑functional collaboration across sites.

You will manage a team, recruit and retain talent, and maintain rigorous engineering processes while delivering on cost and schedule constraints. Excellent communication with customers and stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor’s degree in a STEM field and 8 years of experience or advanced degree with fewer years.
• Active US Government Secret security clearance required.
• Demonstrated leadership across cross‑functional teams in complex, mission‑critical systems.
• Strong communication skills to brief customers, leadership and program management.
• Experience with requirements engineering, verification strategies and trade studies.

Responsibilities

• Lead SE site teams across multiple sites; oversee requirements, architecture and verification.
• Drive SRR, PDR, CDR and TRR processes and formal sell‑off.
• Coordinate with Program Managers to align scope, staffing and risks.
• Mentor and develop SE staff; manage staffing and career development.
