Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. in Maryland seeks an Engineering Department Manager to lead technical leaders (CE, SEIT, EPM, IPT, Architects) across multiple captures and programs. You’ll drive staffing, mentoring, and engagement while adhering to NGMS values and processes.

The role requires a Top Secret clearance, onsite work at NGMS locations such as Annapolis Junction or Cincinnati, and a track record in cyber/cryptography leadership and cost/schedule management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields, with 8 years of experience; Master’s degree with 6 years.
• 8+ years of professional Cyber (Offensive or Defensive), Non-Kinetic, Cryptography, or related mission areas.
• Demonstrated technical leadership experience in SEIT/EPM, Chief Engineer, IPT, System Architect, or equivalent, role in multiple capture/program lifecycle phases.
• Active DoD Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a SCI.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop technical leaders across diverse teams and locations.
• Oversee planning, baseline management, and cost/schedule controls for CIS Xetron/CCS programs.
• Collaborate with senior leaders to manage resources and staffing for competing demands.
