Job summary

The role combines people leadership with hands-on engineering, requiring on-site presence and collaboration with government and industry partners.

The successful candidate will show strong leadership, deep cybersecurity knowledge, and the ability to guide architecture decisions while meeting schedule and budget

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 10 years, Master’s degree with 8 years, or PhD with 6 years in Systems Engineering, Cybersecurity Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or 14 years in lieu of a degree.
• Experience leading multi-discipline engineering teams and demonstrating strong leadership in a collaborative environment.
• Direct experience with RMF, security artifacts, and cyber security standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead a cyber systems engineering team and provide technical direction for mission cyber requirements.
• Ensure on-site presence in Annapolis Junction and coordinate with program management to meet schedule and budget.
• Develop and document cybersecurity architectures and guidance across programs.
• Support reviews, risk analyses, and integration of cyber solutions across multiple locations.
