Job summary

RTX is seeking engineering interns to support program test operations at White Sands Missile Range, NM. This onsite role will involve supporting installation, testing, integration, and mission execution tests for radars or missile flights.

You will work with data acquisition systems and lab test equipment, pursuing a STEM degree with required credits and eligibility for a DoD security clearance. The role may require weekend work and travel to sites on range.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in STEM and actively enrolled through the internship/co‑op session.
• Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credits by the start of the internship / co‑op session.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
• Experience with the instrumentation and/or operation of data acquisition systems or laboratory test equipment
• Must have a minimum of 30 hours of credits by the start of the internship / co‑op session.
• Experience may be obtained through on‑the‑job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

What You Will Do

• Must be pursuing Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co‑op session.
• Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credits by the start of the internship / co‑op session.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
