Job summary

RTX is seeking a candidate for an on-site engineering support role in Huntsville, AL. You will assist with integration, testing, modeling, and data analysis across the product lifecycle.

The role requires active STEM studies with relevant scripting experience in MATLAB, Python, C/C++, Linux, or Unix. Occasional travel to Raytheon facilities may be required as testing activities occur.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
• Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship / co-op session.
• Experience troubleshooting technical software or hardware issues, creating analysis tools and/or automating data sets.
• Experience scripting using MATLAB, Python, C/C++, Linux, Unix, and/or other programming languages.
• Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

What You Will Learn

After completion of comprehensive on-the-job training, the candidate will be a part of a team supporting Systems Integration & Test activities across the product development lifecycle.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session

Qualifications We Prefer

• Prior RTX internship, co-op, or work experience.
• Knowledge of integration, verification, or radar operation concepts
• Experience with MATLAB, Linux Operating Systems, and Shell scripting and with integrating software with hardware/electronics
• Experience in developing and evaluating hardware and test requirements
• Experience with creating test procedures, test scripts, and maintaining configuration control documentation

Salary

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
