Job summary

Motion Applied is seeking a Systems Engineer to guide and foster innovation across multiple market segments, including transportation and telemetry. You will analyze, design, and implement leading-edge systems that span diverse applications, with 30% on-site presence in the Washington DC or Seattle areas, and willingness to relocate.

Under supervision from a Senior Systems Engineer, you will contribute to requirements capture, test planning, and deployment of proofs of concepts, while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computing or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience analyzing and implementing systems with hardware, embedded software and mechanics.
• Understanding of transport communications systems and requirements traceability.
• Experience testing and validating distributed electronic/software systems.
• Ability to present technical solutions to clients and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design and implement leading-edge systems across market segments.
• Contribute to end-to-end systems analysis lifecycle and testing planning.
• Support pre-sales activities, bids, and proposals with technical input.
• Collaborate with UK Systems Engineering team to improve practices.
