Job summary

Peraton in McLean, VA seeks a Mission Engineer & Integrator for Technical Operations to provide technical and operational expertise in planning and executing missions. This role is onsite Mon-Fri with occasional travel.

You will support deployment of operational technology, write and review procedures, perform risk assessments, conduct trade studies, and coordinate with sponsor personnel to define requirements and mitigate vulnerabilities.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance with relevant polygraph.
• Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; an additional four years may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Experience working in customer environments.
• Significant background supporting technical operations.

Responsibilities

• Support deployment of operational technology systems and equipment.
• Write or contribute to operational correspondence and approval processes.
• Monitor incoming operational correspondence and identify action items.
• Assist Sponsor personnel in reviewing operational requirements and governance.
• Conduct risk management and governance responsibilities for operational requirements.
• Analyze conditions to identify technologies and equipment to meet requirements.
• Support development of concepts of operations and system requirements.
• Provide tradecraft recommendations during operations planning and approvals.
• Communicate constraints during planning and execution.
• Perform trade studies and provide system modification recommendations.
