Sound Transit is seeking a senior engineering specialist to provide high-level support for Operations Technology across maintenance facilities. You will lead the technical direction for SCADA, signaling, and related control systems, coordinating with operations, engineering, and outside partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field; Five years of experience in systems engineering work in multiple operations and maintenance technology systems; Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong knowledge of operations and maintenance technology systems and design practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to lead teams and coordinate with vendors

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering and technical support for OT systems in maintenance facilities.
• Provide technical leadership and coaching to team members, contractors and vendors.
• Develop and implement system enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with operations and engineering staff to translate needs into architecture solutions.
