Job summary

Extreme Networks is seeking a dynamic Systems Engineer for our Sales team in a Pre-Sales capacity, supporting the Sports and Entertainment vertical. You will design, present, and oversee large-scale public venue networks, traveling to customer sites to demonstrate network design methodologies and our competitive advantages.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in network engineering or pre-sales, expertise in 802.11 Wi‑Fi, and strong presentation skills to diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in network engineering, systems design, or pre-sales.
• Expert-level knowledge of 802.11 Wi-Fi technologies and wireless network design.
• Strong background in wired, wireless, and security networking technologies.
• Proven troubleshooting in enterprise networks.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan and oversee the implementation of complex network solutions for sports/entertainment venues.
• Prepare and deliver compelling customer presentations to executives and technical audiences.
• Represent Extreme Networks at trade shows, seminars, and customer briefings.
• Analyze requirements and architect solutions positioning Extreme against competitors.
• Demonstrate products and articulate competitive advantages and tech differentiation.
• Manage complex customer interactions and ensure high satisfaction.
• Collaborate across Sales, Engineering, Support, Product for seamless delivery.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues in live environments.
