Job summary

Extreme Networks is seeking a dynamic Systems Engineer to join our Sales team in a Pre-Sales capacity, supporting our Sports and Entertainment vertical. You will design, present, and oversee the implementation of large-scale public venue networks, traveling to customer sites to showcase design methodologies and competitive advantages.

The role blends deep technical expertise with customer-facing responsibilities, and requires the ability to work across Sales, Engineering, Support, and Product

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in network engineering, systems design, or pre‑sales.
• Expert‑level knowledge of 802.11 Wi‑Fi technologies and wireless network design.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, and oversee the implementation of complex network solutions for sports and entertainment venues.
• Prepare and deliver compelling customer presentations to executive, management, and technical audiences.
• Represent Extreme Networks at trade shows, seminars, industry events, and customer briefings.
• Analyze customer requirements and architect solutions that effectively position Extreme Networks products against competitive alternatives.
• Demonstrate Extreme Networks products and clearly articulate competitive advantages and technical differentiation.
• Manage complex customer interactions, navigate challenging circumstances, and maintain high customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate across cross-functional teams (Sales, Engineering, Support, Product) to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues in live customer environments.
