Job summary

Idaho Environmental Coalition, LLC is seeking a System Engineer to maintain operability of assigned SSCs at the Idaho Cleanup Project (ICP) at the Idaho National Laboratory. Responsibilities include system health monitoring, configuration management, and safety integration across design and operations.

The role requires a Bachelor of Science in an engineering or physical science field and may require obtaining a DOE L security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in applicable engineering or physical science discipline.
• Able to obtain and maintain a DOE "L" security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ownership of assigned systems, ensuring system health, documentation accuracy, and proactive lifecycle management.
• Maintain the Technical Baseline of assigned Structures, Systems, and Components (SSCs).
• Manage Facility Change process to verify configuration management of assigned SSCs is maintained.
• Establish preventative maintenance schedules, develop quality level requirements, ensure spare part availability, and verify completion of maintenance on assigned SSCs.
• Evaluate system failure and corrective maintenance rates; identify failure or maintenance trends.
• Evaluate system performance data and recommend modifications or upgrades to improve safety, efficiency, and reliability.
• Perform periodic assessments of assigned SSCs to ensure they are compliant with design basis.
• Interact with other teams, project support groups, subcontractors, vendors, and clients as appropriate on assigned projects.
