Job summary

Nissan Canton, MS is seeking a Systems Engineer Intern to join our team for a 12-week full-time program designed to expose you to manufacturing, supply chain, and facility operations. You’ll collaborate with experienced engineers on software development, systems integration, automation, and technology projects that improve production processes.

You will gain hands-on experience across the full software development lifecycle, work with .NET, SQL, Python scripting, and modern tooling, and

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in a technology field.
Junior or Senior year at the start of the upcoming term.
Basic to intermediate experience with .NET (C#, Visual Basic) and SQL databases.
Familiar with scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.
Understanding of OOP, software design principles, and SDLC.
GPA 3.0 or higher with ability to provide transcripts.
Able to work onsite in Canton, MS.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with engineering teams to design and deploy new technology solutions.
Develop software applications to support manufacturing and facility operations.
Design and maintain databases to support system integrations.
Participate in the full software development lifecycle from requirements to testing.
