Job summary

Nissan Canton, MS is seeking a Systems Engineer Intern to join our team in Canton, MS. This internship provides hands-on experience in software development, systems integration, automation, and emerging technologies that support critical manufacturing operations.

You will collaborate with experienced engineers to design, develop, and deploy technology solutions, build and maintain databases, and participate in the full software development lifecycle from requirements to deployment onsite.

Qualifications

Must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree in a related tech field.
GPA 3.0 or higher; official transcript may be requested during application.
On-site work authorization and ability to work in Canton, MS.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with engineering teams to design, develop, and deploy new technology solutions and proofs-of-concept.
Develop software applications using multiple programming languages to support manufacturing and facility operations.
Design, build, and maintain databases that support system integrations and operational processes.
Participate in the full software development lifecycle from requirements gathering to testing and deployment.
Support continuous improvement through automation, data analysis, and system enhancements.
