Job summary

Raytheon seeks a Systems Engineer II to join the SETC team supporting the LTAMDS Family of Radars. The role spans concept to deployment, collaborating across disciplines to troubleshoot issues, analyze data, and implement solutions for mission-critical defense systems.

The position offers on-site work across MA/NH locations, with travel up to 20% to RTX facilities, test sites, or customer locations. A Secret clearance is required to start.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior engineering experience.
• Active and transferable U.S. government-issued security clearance is required prior to start date; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Develop requirements, concepts of operations, and system interfaces.
• Lead testing efforts: create plans, procedures, integration and verification docs.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and system issues via data analysis and debugging.
• Drive performance improvements across functions and system integration.
• Develop and execute modeling/simulation to predict system performance.
