Raytheon is seeking a Systems Engineer II to join the Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SETC) discipline, supporting the LTAMDS Family of Radars. This role offers the opportunity to work across the full lifecycle of the product from concept to deployment.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior engineering experience.
• Experience with systems software, systems hardware, systems requirements, systems integration, and/or systems test.
• Active and transferable U.S. government‑issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Core Systems Engineering: Develop requirements, concepts of operations and define system interfaces.
• Lead Testing Efforts: Develop and implement test plans, procedures, integration, and verification documentation.
• Troubleshoot and Analyze: Identify and resolve hardware, software, and system issues through data analysis.
• Drive Performance: Collaborate across functions to drive performance improvements and resolve system issues.
• Modeling and Simulation: Develop and execute models to predict system performance and support validation.
• Integrate Systems: Integrate hardware and software into tactical systems and evaluate functionality.
• Collaborate and Lead: Work with a multi-disciplinary team to achieve seamless integration.
• Document and Communicate: Create integration docs, verify requirements and communicate results to leadership.
• Perform Data Analysis: Analyze radar performance data to ensure optimal system performance.
