Job summary

Raytheon seeks a Systems Engineer II in the Long Range Radars division at our Woburn, MA location. You will support radar data analysis, systems integration, and testing across software and hardware, collaborating with internal and external customers to meet stringent DoD requirements.

Your responsibilities include executing test plans, validating system performance, and ensuring compliance with defense policies while working on challenging, cross-functional projects with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) is required with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with MATLAB, Python, Perl, C/C++, Linux, Unix, or similar programming.
• Experience using String/HWIL test equipment and radar system integration/testing.

Responsibilities

• Support integration and test planning and execution, including verification/validation and regression testing.
• Support system performance assessments and validation testing against requirements.
• Execute integration plans and testing activities per milestones and schedules.
• Integrate and test radar system software builds in a String/HWIL facility for integration, verification, testing, and data analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-program leads to generate test approaches and ensure test-readiness.
• Ensure test and evaluation processes comply with DoD release and export licensing policies.
• Travel up to 10% domestically and internationally as needed.
