Job summary

RTX is seeking a Systems Engineer II - Modeling Simulation & Analysis in Tucson, AZ, onsite. You will join a multidisciplinary team to build high-fidelity simulations supporting missile design, performance evaluation and flight tests.

This role emphasizes modeling solutions, trade studies, and cross-team collaboration across GNC, signal processing, and performance personnel. You will participate in multi-disciplinary work across integrated product teams and guide others while solving complex

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics or related STEM field.
• 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with object-oriented C/C++.
• Experience using Python or MATLAB for data evaluation.
• Ability to obtain Interim Secret security clearance and U.S. citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Create high fidelity simulations and models for missile design, performance assessment, and flight test support.
• Develop and implement modeling solutions, conduct trade studies, and evaluate system performance.
• Collaborate with GNC, Signal Processing, and performance teams to perform simulations per program schedule.
• Work in a team environment, guiding other team members as needed.
• Develop approaches and solutions across the product lifecycle from concept to fielded product.
• Provide technical expertise for simulation products and assist senior engineers with detailed plans.
