Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ seeks a Systems Engineer II - Modeling Simulation & Analysis to create high-fidelity simulations for missile design and flight test support. You will develop modeling solutions, perform trade studies, and work with teams across GNC and signal processing to ensure program schedules are met.

On-site role in Tucson with opportunities to guide junior engineers and influence product lifecycle from concept to deployment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics or related STEM field.

Responsibilities

• Create high-fidelity simulations and models for missile design, performance assessment, and flight test support.
• Develop and implement modeling solutions; conduct trade studies and evaluate system/subsystem performance.
• Work in a team environment; provide guidance to other team members.
• Collaborate with GNC, Signal Processing, and other performance personnel to perform simulations per program schedule.
• Work on multiple projects; develop approaches and solutions across product lifecycle from concept to fielded product.
• Provide technical expertise for simulation products and assist Senior Modeling Engineers with detailed plans.
