BS or MS in Engineering or Sciences
Experience in Lab/Industrial Automation equipment and instrumentation preferred
Minimum of two years relevant experience or a combination of education and experience
Experience within in vitro diagnostic support/development preferred

Responsibilities

Provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems and selects techniques based on risk-based assessment.
Contributes to program/project completion, including product conceptualization and development work plans.
Manages product requirements and high-level design specifications under supervision.
Collaborates with assay development and engineering; may guide junior developers.
Evaluates moderate complexity problems and conducts development activities with minimal supervision.
Develops and tests subsystem workflow logic for instrument functions and informs Theory of Operation.
