RTX is seeking a Systems Engineer II for the Huntsville, AL area. You will lead architecture and requirements for Ground Based Radar systems, model and test algorithms, and work with customers to deliver advanced radar solutions.

The role emphasizes MBSE, Matlab/Linux experience, and strong collaboration across distributed teams. Onsite in Huntsville with limited travel and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Requires a STEM degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with radar systems is required.
• Experience with MBSE and/or Cameo is required.
• Experience with MATLAB and/or Linux is required.

Responsabilités

• Lead architecture and requirements development for Ground Based Radar systems, including framework updates and performance requirements.
• Conduct requirements analysis to verify system-level performance.
• Code system models, algorithms, test scripts, and evaluation tools for radar performance.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders at all levels.
• Engage with customers and lead development of technical solutions to complex challenges.
• Develop and maintain engineering processes and tools.
• Implement Agile practices, including JIRA and Confluence.
• Work independently and with distributed teams.
• Role is onsite in Huntsville, AL with 10%–15% travel domestically.
