Waystar, Inc is looking for a Systems Engineer based in Louisville, Kentucky. This role involves working with cutting-edge technologies within a dynamic infrastructure environment that includes Windows, Linux, and Cloud (AWS and GCP) systems.

You will collaborate with team members to resolve client support requests, manage vulnerabilities, and create essential documentation. The company offers competitive rewards and a supportive workplace culture.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience supporting servers in a datacenter and cloud environment.
• Advanced knowledge of Windows Server administration and support.
• Advanced knowledge of Linux Server administration and support.
• Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Cloud (AWS and GCP) administration and support.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot technical problems with little oversight.
• Ownership of individual project and task priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Clear communicator across departments.

Responsibilities

• Work in a cutting edge and continually changing SaaS environment.
• Resolve internal and external client requests while adhering to defined service level agreements.
• Create documentation for deployment and maintenance of new technologies.
• Train and mentor new team members.
• Participate in an on-call rotation that consists of 24/7 alerting.
