Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company in the United States, seeks a Systems Engineer I to shape and improve engineering software used in metal building design. You will translate technical requirements into practical software enhancements, streamline workflows, and support operational efficiency with engineers, developers, IT, drafting, and manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering preferred.
5+ years in engineering software development and systems engineering.
Experience with metal building design or construction is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement technical solutions within the metal building design system.
Analyze workflows to automate, improve UX, and increase efficiency.
Collaborate with SMEs to translate requirements into software features.
Design and execute user acceptance tests and document results.
Maintain technical documentation and codebase history.
Support legacy systems while enabling modernization.
