Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering with emphasis in design and analysis.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents and specs.
• Familiarity with metal buildings and basic load analysis.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural calculations for steel and other structural members under guidance.
• Assist with wind, seismic, and load analyses to support code-compliant designs.
• Develop basic structural designs and prepare technical calculation packages.
• Support CAD designers in creating design documents for prefabricated metal buildings.
• Assist in preparing foundation design requirements, anchor bolt layouts, and documentation for permitting.
• Review RFIs, submittals, and construction documents and elevate technical issues as needed.
• Communicate project status and technical findings to SE2 or Principal Engineer.
• Learn and apply structural analysis software (RISA 3D, CFS11, HILTI) and company design standards.
