Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC) in Ohio seeks a Systems Engineer I to apply fundamentals in requirements engineering, systems integration, V&V, and MBSE under supervision. You will support analysis, planning, and lifecycle tasks while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. A prior SNC internship is preferred, and a Secret clearance is required.

The role offers growth in engineering skills, exposure to DoD/SNC programs, and a path to broader responsibilities within our IAS business area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Systems, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 0–2+ years of systems engineering experience.
• Must have been an SNC summer 2026 intern.
• Basic knowledge of systems modeling and simulation tools.
• Familiarity with multi-disciplinary design teams.
• Ability to obtain a Secret U.S. security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in requirements engineering, systems integration, V&V, and MBSE tasks.
• Support system and decision analysis, planning, and risk management.
• Contribute to architecture/design development and technical monitoring.
• Participate in lifecycle management activities.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members.
