Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer in a hybrid role stationed in Dayton, OH or Plano, TX. The role emphasizes requirements engineering, systems integration, V&V, MBSE, and large-scale digital system modeling using Cameo.

You will lead cross-disciplinary efforts, guide lifecycle management, and mentor team members across multiple locations. The position requires a Bachelor's in a relevant field and 10+ years of systems engineering experience, with FAA Part 25 knowledge

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in systems engineering or related field.
• FAA Part 25 aircraft systems knowledge.
• Expert proficiency with systems modeling and simulation tools.
• Proven leadership experience in systems engineering.

Responsibilities

• Exhibit expert-level skills in requirements engineering, systems integration, V&V, and MBSE.
• Advance and manage a large FAA Part 25 aircraft digital system model in Cameo (No Magic).
• Leverage deep knowledge in architecture/design development, technical monitoring, and lifecycle management.
• Provide strong leadership and effective communication across disciplines and locations.
• Mentor and guide team members.
