Job summary

RTX in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a software engineer intern/co-op to join a team of Systems and Software engineers. You will design, develop, and test flight management system software for military helicopters and aircraft, applying C/C++, ADA, and Python in a collaborative environment.

You will learn systems engineering and flight software integration, gain hands-on experience with DO-178 practices, and travel as needed (<10%). This role is onsite and offers real project impact in a defense context.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in STEM by start date.
• Experience with C, C++, ADA and/or Python.
• Willingness to travel domestically/internationally <10%.
