Job summary

RTX offers an internship/co-op in Cedar Rapids, IA, focused on flight management software for military helicopters and aircraft. You will join a team of Systems and Software engineers to design, develop, and test software features integrated into mission-critical platforms.

The role requires pursuing a Bachelor's or Advanced degree in engineering and experience with C, C++, ADA, or Python. U.S. Person status is required, and relocation eligibility is available where applicable.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Engineering and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
• Experience with C, C++, ADA, and/or Python.
• U.S. Person requirement for this role.

Responsibilities

• Work within a team of Systems and Software engineers to design, develop, and test software features for flight management systems that are integrated into military helicopters and planes.
• Integrate soft skills (leadership, communication, coordination, proactiveness) into a dynamic environment that provides quality and timely products to internal and external customers.
• Grow knowledge of Systems Engineering and Flight Management Systems
