Northland Business Systems seeks a Systems Engineer I to support customers in Minnesota, primarily through desktop and network-related issue resolution. The role includes on-site visits, remote troubleshooting, and rotating on-call duties, with travel to out-of-state assignments as needed.

Candidates should have 2–4 years of software/hardware support experience, strong customer service skills, and proficiency with common IT tools such as QUIP and IT Glue. Must reside in Minnesota.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in software and hardware support.
• Ability to create and manage tickets and projects consistently and thoroughly.
• Strong customer service orientation with effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install and support Digital Dictation & Video Recording equipment and Voice Logger systems.
• Collaborate with team and sales/project management for meetings and installations.
• Create and resolve tickets for service requests using BMS and QUIP.
• Provide 24/7 rotating on-call support as needed.
• Perform on-site assists and remote troubleshooting to resolve issues.
