Job summary

Leidos is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer in Oklahoma City, OK to support an Air Force Life Cycle Management Center program. The role covers system configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and ensuring security and availability of IT infrastructure on-site.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship with active TS/SCI clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience or a Master’s Degree with 1+ years of experience.
• DoD 8140 intermediate certification or DoD 8570 IAM Level II certifications or higher.
• Experience with Active Directory, LDAP, or similar directory services.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
• Experience administering Linux and Windows servers, networking fundamentals.
• Experience with troubleshooting, incident response, and security hardening.
• Ability to travel to support customer sites for hardware installation and configuration.

Responsibilities

• Travel to support customer sites and assist with hardware installation and configuration.
• Install, configure, and maintain Linux and Windows servers (physical and virtual).
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot, and ensure high availability of systems.
• Manage patches, upgrades, and security hardening per DoD policies.
• Support backups, disaster recovery, and data integrity.
• Coordinate with govt network owners to define requirements for new locations.
• Assist in software deployments and system integration tasks.
• Maintain up-to-date system documentation and incident records.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure operational readiness.
