Job summary

Leidos in Oklahoma City seeks a DevSecOps Engineer to strengthen security in the DevOps lifecycle for a DoD program. The role focuses on blending secure practices into CI/CD, vulnerability management, and secure coding across DoD DoD applications.

The candidate will work with Linux/Windows, cloud infra, Docker, Kubernetes, and IaC tools to fortify software security and respond to incidents. A TS/SCI clearance is required.

Qualifications

• US Citizen with active Top Secret clearance and ability to obtain SCI prior to start date.
• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of experience or Master’s with 2+ years.
• 3–5 years in software development activities.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD, change management and version control.
• Experience with Linux/Windows, networks, and cloud infra (Azure/AWS/GCP).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes; Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.
• Excellent problem solving and independent work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Support integration of security into the DevOps pipeline for DoD apps, ensuring standards compliance.
• Automate security tools and processes within CI/CD to improve security posture.
• Perform vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and threat modeling.
• Collaborate with dev and ops teams to enforce secure coding and controls.
• Configure security tooling (SAST/DAST/IAST) and IaC security; manage IaC tooling.
• Participate in incident response and monitor security alerts across teams.
• Mentor junior team members on DevSecOps best practices and tools.
