Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer in Oklahoma City to strengthen security in the DevOps lifecycle for a DoD program with Air Force LCMC. You will lead security integration, tool selection, and threat modeling across CI/CD pipelines while mentoring engineers.

Qualifications

• US Citizen with active Top Secret clearance and SCI eligibility.
• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years or Master’s with 6+ years experience.
• DoD 8140 intermediate or DoD 8570 IAM Level II certifications or higher.
• Strong understanding of software development paradigms and supporting technologies (change management, version control, CI/CD, Jira/Gitlab).
• Strong background using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC).
• Strong experience configuring CI/CD pipelines in a DevSecOps environment.
• Relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MS SQL Server.
• Experience administering Linux and Windows environments and networking protocols.
• Experience with hybrid IaaS/Cloud infrastructures (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes; provisioning tools like Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation, Chef, Puppet, Ansible.
• Experience integrating cloud services, especially Azure.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills; self-starter attitude.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of security practices within the DevOps pipeline for DoD applications, ensuring regulatory alignment.
• Evaluate and select security tools; integrate into CI/CD workflows to enhance security.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, threat modeling, and penetration testing to identify and mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop secure coding practices, incident response plans, and security training.
• Mentor and guide junior and mid-level engineers, fostering knowledge sharing.
• Drive automation of security testing and compliance using IaC and security tools.
• Stay current on industry trends and best practices to improve security posture.
• Assess, design, develop, test, and implement BC/DR solutions in a complex environment.
