Job summary

Leidos is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer in Oklahoma City to support an Air Force Life Cycle Management Center program. You will perform system configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and secure deployments on Linux and Windows environments, coordinating with government network owners and IT teams.

The role requires active TS/SCI clearance, DoD 8140/8570 certifications, and cloud experience (AWS/Azure). Travel to customer sites and strong documentation practices are essential.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen with active TS/SCI clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years or Master's with 1+ years experience.
• DoD 8140 intermediate certification or DoD 8570 IAM Level II certifications or higher.
• Experience with Active Directory, LDAP, or similar directory services.
• Strong experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
• Linux/Windows server administration, networking, and security tuning.
• Excellent communication and ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites to assist hardware installation and configuration.
• Install, configure, and maintain Linux and Windows servers.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot, and ensure high availability.
• Manage patches, upgrades, and security hardening per DoD policy.
• Support backups, disaster recovery, and data integrity.
• Assist in system access control and security configurations.
• Coordinate with other IT teams for software deployments and integration.
• Maintain up-to-date system documentation.
• Participate in incident response and resolve performance or security issues.
