Job summary

Shield Consulting Solutions, Inc. is seeking a highly qualified Systems Engineer in Maryland to support on-premise and AWS cloud infrastructure. Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph is required.

This is a full-time, on-site role with competitive benefits. The candidate will manage and maintain server infrastructure in a cloud environment, with responsibilities spanning AD, DNS, Group Policy, Linux, Windows, and automation using Salt, Bash, Python, and Ansible.

Qualifications

• Security+ certification required.
• 14 years experience as a systems engineer.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline; 5 additional years of experience may substitute for a degree.
• Experience with on-premises and AWS cloud environments.
• Experience with Linux (Amazon Linux 2023, RHEL 8/9) and Windows Server (2016/2022).
• Experience with Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy.
• Proficiency with Salt, Bash, Python, and Ansible.
