Job summary

Anduril Industries is leading defense technology, building autonomous airpower systems and a Systems Engineering team to guide Digital Engineering strategy and complement Mission Software, Product Engineering, and Business Development.

The role focuses on MBSE artifacts, requirements-based testing, and integration across DoD and space programs, with strong emphasis on model-based design, verification, and clear technical communication within a fast-moving, security-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
• BS in aerospace, mechanical, computer science or similar engineering or technical field.
• 2+ years of Systems Engineering across the life cycle.
• Experience with MODSIM environments like AFSIM or JSE.
• Understanding of MODSIM interfaces and behaviors.
• Experience with requirements analysis and system design in government contexts.
• Proficiency in writing and owning systems-level requirements.
• Strong engineering background in Aerospace, Dynamics & Controls, GNC, Systems, or similar.
• Experience with SysML, DoDAF, UAFP, or similar.
• Experience developing MBSE artifacts (OVs, SVs, activity diagrams, use case diagrams, BDDs, IBDs, etc.).
• Experience with Cameo MagicDraw or similar tools (Rhapsody, SparxEA).
• Outstanding communication skills, including visual presentation of complex data.

Responsibilities

• Red-team designs, models, and analyses across a program.
• Build models and simulations to prove or break a claim.
• Support Program Management, Mission Software Engineers, and Operations Analysts as a systems engineer.
• Communicate complex results to engineers, leadership, and stakeholders with strong visuals.
