Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Systems Engineer to support defense programs with MBSE practices, model-based analyses, and rigorous requirements management. You will collaborate with Mission Software, Product Engineering, and Operations teams to guide system design and verification under DoD contexts.

Must maintain an active U.S. Top Secret clearance and bring expertise across lifecycle engineering, MBSE, and government interfaces.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret security clearance required.
• B.S. in aerospace, mechanical, computer science or similar engineering.
• 2+ years Systems Engineering experience across the life cycle.
• Experience with MODSIM environments like AFSIM or JSE.
• Understanding of MODSIM interfaces and behaviors.
• Experience with requirements analysis and system design in government context.
• Proficiency with writing and owning systems-level requirements.
• Strong engineering background in Aerospace, Dynamics & Controls, GNC, Systems, or similar.
• Experience with SysML, DoDAF, UAFP, or similar.
• Experience developing MBSE artifacts (e.g., OV, SV, activity diagrams, IBDs, P diagrams).
• Experience with Cameo MagicDraw or similar MBSE tools (Rhapsody, SparxEA).
• Outstanding communication skills, including visual data presentation.

Responsibilities

• Red-team designs, models, and analyses across a program.
• Build models and simulations to prove or break a claim.
• Support Program Management, Mission Software Engineers, and Operations Analysts as a systems engineer.
• Communicate complex results and present data to engineers, leadership, and stakeholders.
