Job summary

Torch Technologies is seeking a Systems Engineer/Analyst to support its Air & Missile Defense unit. You will develop plans, review designs, and provide technical expertise across verification and validation processes.

The role requires strong collaboration, experience with automation (Jenkins), and the ability to work with both Windows and Linux environments. Travel is possible and the position is on-site in Huntsville, AL.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship and active secret clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in systems engineering/analysis.
• Ability to evaluate software products through all development life cycle phases.
• Knowledge of military/software standards and environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review plans and reports ensuring system and software meet requirements and design specs.
• Review design, system and test docs related to requirements and test output.
• Provide technical expertise from data analyzed in verification/validation processes.
• Collaborate with internal/external team members and maintain organization.
• Develop post-processing analysis tools and visualizations to evaluate system performance.
• Perform performance analyses, derive actionable insights, suggest improvements.
• Support and develop automation platforms (e.g., Jenkins) by managing pipelines.
• Remediate V&V results and document defects.
• Participate in customer meetings, reviews and walkthroughs.
