Job summary

Torch Technologies in Huntsville, AL seeks a Senior Software/Systems Engineer/Analyst to support defense programs. You will develop analytical tools, perform system-level evaluations, and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to drive mission-critical solutions.

Qualified candidates have a BS in CS/Software/CE, 8+ years of experience, and proficiency in Ada, C, C++, Python, and Java, plus an active secret clearance. On-site work, M-F, with travel.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship is required.
• 8+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Ability to work with Ada, C, C++, Python, and Java.
• Current secret clearance is required for access.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review plans and reports to ensure compliance with requirements and design specs.
• Develop and maintain Python and Bash tools for data analysis and system evaluation.
• Perform system-level analyses to identify performance issues and optimization opportunities.
• Evaluate technical requirements for ambiguity, completeness and testability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system performance and reliability.
