Torch Technologies in Huntsville, AL seeks an Entry-Level Design Engineer/Analyst to support the Air & Missile Defense unit. You will develop plans, analyze system performance, and create post-processing tools.

Responsibilities include reviewing requirements, design, and test documentation, and remediating V&V results. Requires a bachelor’s in engineering/CS and ability to obtain an active Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• 0–5 years of relevant experience in design engineering, analysis, or software.
• Ability to perform evaluations across software life cycle (requirements, design, verification).
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux environments.
• Good organizational and collaboration skills.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review plans and reports to ensure system and software operate per requirements and design specs.
• Review design, system and test documentation related to requirements and test output.
• Develop post-processing analysis tools and visualizations to evaluate system performance.
• Record and close defects (Root Cause, JIRA Tickets).
• Support V&V activities and remediation of results as needed.
