Torch Technologies in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Mid-Level Lead Systems Engineer/Analyst to support the Air & Missile Defense Business Unit. The role offers potential transition to a Team Lead based on performance and technical leadership.

Responsibilities include developing plans, analyzing system and software performance, and guiding verification/validation efforts while coordinating with internal and external teams. A Secret clearance is required.

Qualifikationen

• U.S. Citizenship.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of software development, modeling/simulation, and/or data analysis, with 5+ years leading technical teams.
• Demonstrated desire to lead and develop a high-performance technical team.
• Ability to evaluate software products through all development life cycle phases.
• Ability to configure hardware and operating environments as needed.
• Knowledge of military and software industry standards, or other software standards.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Linux technologies.
• Good organizational skills with Git/SharePoint repositories.
• Experience with automated testing environments, frameworks, and programming languages.
• Ability to learn and adapt to customer’s Environment and Processes.
• Must have an active Secret clearance.

Aufgaben

• Develop and review plans and reports to ensure system and software meet requirements.
• Review design, system and test documentation related to requirements and test output.
• Provide technical expertise in data analyzed through verification and validation.
• Collaborate with team members internal and external to the organization.
• Develop post-processing analysis tools and visualizations to evaluate system performance.
• Perform detailed performance analyses and suggest enhancements.
• Remediate V&V results as required.
• Record and close defects (Root Cause, JIRA Tickets, Anomalies).
• Participate in customer meetings, reviews and walkthroughs.
