Job summary

Momentum Engineering in Annapolis Junction, MD seeks a Systems Engineer 2 to help develop and sustain automated solutions for mission customers within an Agile/DevOps environment.

The role combines systems engineering, requirements analysis, architecture, verification, and IT systems support across the full lifecycle, with a focus on delivering high‑quality, reliable capabilities for national security initiatives.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph.
• DoD IAT Level I certification or higher.
• 14+ years as a Systems Engineer on similar programs.
• Bachelor’s in a related engineering field; 5+ years can substitute for degree.
• Experience planning and leading SE efforts; ability to define interfaces and perform end-to-end trades.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user needs and translate mission requirements into system requirements and specifications.
• Develop and maintain CONOPS documentation.
• Lead or support SE efforts across the full system lifecycle.
• Plan and conduct verification and validation activities; recommend tech solutions.
