HX5, LLC is seeking a Systems Engineer to join our team at Eglin AFB in Niceville, Florida. The role involves supporting DoD acquisition lifecycle activities, requirements development, system design, and technical documentation across multiple phases.

The candidate will collaborate with program management, logistics, test, and cybersecurity teams to ensure integrated system performance, with emphasis on identifying risks and proposing design or process improvements.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required.
• Bachelor's degree with 20+ years of professional experience OR Master's with 15+ years OR Ph.D. with 5+ years.

Responsibilities

• Support systems engineering activities across all phases of the DoD acquisition lifecycle (Material Solutions Analysis through Operations & Support).
• Support requirements development, analysis, traceability, and verification.
• Conduct system design, integration, and technical analysis activities.
• Develop and review technical documentation, including specifications, interface documents, and engineering reports.
• Support technical reviews (e.g., SRR, PDR, CDR) and program milestone activities.
• Collaborate with program management, logistics, test, and cybersecurity teams to ensure integrated system performance.
• Analyze system performance and recommend design or process improvements.
• Support risk identification, analysis, and mitigation planning.
• Provide technical input to acquisition documentation and program decision-making.

Systems Engineer

HX5 is currently seeking a Systems Engineer to join our team at Eglin AFB in Niceville, Florida.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support systems engineering activities across all phases of the DoD acquisition lifecycle (Material Solutions Analysis through Operations & Support)
• Support requirements development, analysis, traceability, and verification.

Education and Experience:

• Or Master's degree and fifteen (15) years of professional experience
• OR Ph.D. and five (5) years of professional experience

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

• This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week and offers a flexible work schedule Monday through Friday during core business hours.

Other Position Requirements:

• Proof of U.S. Citizenship is a requirement for this position.
• Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret clearance by date of hire.
