HX5, LLC seeks a Senior Acquisition Program Manager in Electronic Warfare to join the team at Eglin AFB, Niceville, Florida. The role emphasizes full-spectrum DoD lifecycle engineering, system-level design translation, and risk-driven program management.

The candidate will lead assessments, cost/schedule analyses, and support proposals and source-selection activities while ensuring compliance with DoD processes. A strong background in EW, radar, and RF is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 25+ years of professional experience or advanced degrees with fewer years.
• ABET-accredited engineering degree is preferred.
• Prior DoD acquisition experience or DAU certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-spectrum DoD lifecycle engineering support across programs.
• Define and translate requirements into system-level designs and interfaces.
• Conduct reviews, trade studies, AoAs, risk analyses, and system effectiveness assessments.
• Develop design reviews, system specs, and program documentation.
• Support integration, verification/validation, and life-cycle sustainment planning.
• Evaluate proposals, system modifications, and technical feasibility.
• Perform cost, schedule, producibility, reliability, and maintenance cost analyses.
• Conduct simulations for armament systems and model performance.
• Provide source-selection technical advising and milestone documentation.
• Review and analyze baselines for concept and requirement baselines.
• Apply EW engineering expertise in radar, threat simulations, RF propagation, and test planning.
• Support FMS, program management, risk activities, and IPTs.

HX5 is currently seeking a Senior Acquisition Program Manager Electronic Warfare to join the team at Eglin, AFB in Niceville, Florida.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide full-spectrum engineering and technical support across all phases of the DoD life cycle.
• Define, analyze, and translate requirements into system-level designs, architectures, interfaces, and documentation.
• Conduct engineering reviews, audits, trade studies, AoAs, system effectiveness assessments, and risk analyses.
• Develop technical artifacts including SEPs, design review materials, system specs, and program documentation.
• Support integration, verification/validation, configuration management, and life-cycle sustainment planning.
• Evaluate proposals, system modifications, training system requirements, simulators, and technical feasibility.
• Perform cost, schedule, producibility, reliability, maintainability, and life-cycle cost analyses.
• Conduct simulation studies for armament systems and model/system component performance.
• Provide source-selection technical advising, milestone documentation development, and program readiness assessments.
• Review and analyze system concept and requirement baselines.
• Apply Electronic Warfare engineering expertise radar systems, threat simulations, RF propagation, signal processing, EW modeling, test planning, and verification.
• Support FMS, program management, risk activities, and engineering IPTs, and overall system-level technical oversight.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree and twenty-five (25) years of professional experience
• OR master's degree and fifteen(15) years of professional experience
• OR PhD and five (5) years of experience
• Undergraduate engineering degree from an ABET-accredited college

Preferences

• Prior DoD acquisition experience, DAU courses or certifications

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

• This is a full-time on-site position requiring 40 hours per week and offers a flexible work schedule Monday through Friday during core business hours.

Other Position Requirements

• Proof of U.S. Citizenship is a requirement for this position.
• Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret clearance by date of hire.
