Job summary

Panduit is seeking an IEI Systems Engineering Intern to join the Systems and Renewable Energy Engineering Team in the United States. You will work across mechanical, electrical and software disciplines, supporting design for manufacturability, DFMEA and risk assessment while gaining hands-on experience in product development and testing.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited 4-year mechanical engineering degree program.
• Completed at least 4 semesters by start of internship.
• CAD experience is required, experience on Siemens NX is a plus.
• FEA knowledge and interest in materials science preferred.
• Good communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Support business development or product management with a diverse product set.
• Design for manufacturability and assembly, DFMEA, and risk assessment.
• Contribute to innovation, product design and testing within the engineering team.
