Job summary

Ulteig is seeking a talented Electrical Engineering Intern for the 2027 summer season to join our Renewables team. You will assist with calculations, drawings, and studies, and learn CAD, EasyPower, ETAP, and PSSE as part of real-world renewable energy projects.

You will gain hands-on experience supporting engineering analysis, collaborating with experienced professionals, and potentially engaging with clients and business development activities.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, with at least two years of coursework completed.
• Experience or coursework in electrical power systems is a strong plus.
• Must be able to work full-time during Summer 2027.
• Permanent authorization to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Support electrical engineers and engineering technicians on renewable energy projects.
• Assist with electrical engineering calculations, drawings, design studies, and technical documentation.
• Learn and utilize engineering software such as CAD, EasyPower, ETAP, and PSSE to support electrical system design and analysis.
• Compile and analyze technical data to support engineering evaluations and project deliverables.
• Collaborate with project teams and other internal resources to support client needs.
• Gain exposure to client interaction and, where appropriate, marketing, sales, and business development activities.
